Protection
Advanced Degrees of Protection
At PACPROTECT® we offer a broad range of international protection levels including NIJ, VPAM, HOSDB and various special threats. All our protection levels are not only tested in-house but also certified by accredited and recognised test laboratories such as TNO and Chesapeak.
For operational security reasons and to prevent our adversaries knowing exactly which natures of ammunition the PACPROTECT SMARTSHIELD® defends against, we categorise our protection levels as BLUE, GREEN and BLACK.
The first level, referred to as the BLUE LINE, provides essential defense against low-caliber firearms and projectiles. It offers excellent mobility without compromising safety, making it suitable for situations where agility is paramount.
The second level, referred to as the GREEN LINE, offers increased defense capabilities providing an extra layer of security in more hazardous environments.
Finally, the third level, known as our BLACK LINE, is designed to withstand even the most menacing ballistic threats, allowing the user to focus on the task at hand.

Size
Protection Area
Overall weight of any shield or panel depends on size, shape and required protection level. Using the areal weight (g/m2) per protective panel gives you the real weight. At PACPROTECT® we use the lightest materials available while using the best production techniques. To keep things simple and transparant we offer three standard shield sizes. The smallest size, the PAC270 (60x45cm), is ideal for close-quarter engagements, offers agility and maneuverability without compromising protection.
The medium-sized PAC360 (80x45cm) shield strikes a balance between mobility and coverage, suitable for a wide range of scenarios.
The largest standard size of the PAC405 (90x45cm) provides extensive coverage and protection, making it particularly effective in providing protection for less dynamic and high-risk missions.
